Model year facts
- 92-96 = the "aero" body (OBS proper). The heavy-duty F-250/F-350 kept this body through 1997.
- Bronco shares the F-150 chassis and drivetrain (92-96).
- 94.5 introduced the 7.3 Power Stroke; 95 introduced the driver's airbag; 96 was the last year before the 97 F-150 redesign (the new one).

- ZF5 — 5-spd manual, F-250/350 and 460 trucks. Overbuilt; the 5th-gear nut is the known issue.

- F-150/Bronco: 8.8 rear. Codes: H9 = 3.55 LS (most common), 19 = 3.55 open, B6 = 3.08 open, 27 = 3.73 open. Full chart on the Decoders page.
- F-250: 10.25 Sterling; F-350: Dana 60.
- Front: TTB Dana 44 (F-150) / Dana 50 (F-250). The TTB is the truck's signature — see 4x4 & TTB.
